HOW THE RENT-TO-OWN PROGRAM WORKS
For a lot of people, owning your own home is harder now than its ever been. In fact, 43% of mortgage applicants were denied last year. 👀 We're on a mission to fix that.
THE PROCESS TO GET STARTED
step ❶:
APPLY ONLINE
Once submitted, an email will be sent to you and Jana stating the home price you have been approved for. The application does perform a soft credit check that does not impact your credit score.
step ❷:
FIND YOUR DREAM HOME
Shop from on and off-market homes with Jana. Berry-Rock Homes will purchase any home you desire so long as it appraises for the purchase price, is insurable and you have at least 7% of the purchase price to provide as Option Money.
step ❸:
PAY OPTION MONEY
Pay the 7% Option Consideration Money for the home you selected. These funds are refunded if your offer is not accepted. You have 3 days from the Contract Effective Date to deposit funds.

SUBMIT YOUR OFFER
Jana will submit the offer and negotiate on our behalf to get the home under contract for purchase.

INSPECTIONS & APPRAISAL
Once a contract is in place we order an appraisal and inspection to ensure the property meets expected safety standards.

It typically only takes about 30 days from the day we submit the offer until your move-in day.
